Welcome to Barakah Journeys. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your Hajj or Umrah package. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Contract of Sale
- Agreement: A contract exists between you and Barakah Journeys once we have received your initial deposit and issued a confirmation invoice.
- Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure that all names and passport details provided match your legal travel documents exactly.
2. Financial Protection (ATOL)
- Your Security: All flight-inclusive packages sold by Barakah Journeys are 100% ATOL Protected.
- Documentation: When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight-inclusive holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you, and who to contact if things go wrong.
3. Nusuk Portal & Saudi Regulations
- Third-Party Platforms: For Hajj 2026, all bookings are subject to the rules and technical availability of the Nusuk Hajj portal managed by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
- Verification: While Barakah Journeys provides expert guidance, the pilgrim is responsible for the accuracy of the data uploaded to their personal Nusuk profile.
- Liability: Barakah Journeys is not liable for delays, rejections, or technical errors caused by the Nusuk platform or Saudi Government policy changes.
4. Payments and Cancellations
- Deposits: Deposits are required to secure your hotel and flight allocations and are generally non-refundable due to the advance commitments made to airlines and hotels.
- Final Balance: Full payment must be received no later than 10 weeks prior to departure (unless otherwise stated for Hajj packages).
- Cancellation by You: If you wish to cancel, the request must be made in writing. Cancellation fees apply based on the proximity to the departure date.
5. Passports, Visas, and Health
- Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your return to the UK.
- Visas: While we assist with visa processing, the final decision rests solely with the Saudi Embassy or the Ministry of Hajj.
- Vaccinations: It is the pilgrim’s responsibility to ensure they have the mandatory ACWY Meningitis vaccination and any other health requirements mandated by the Saudi government.
6. Flight and Travel Delays
- Barakah Journeys acts as an agent for the airline. We are not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes. However, we will provide all necessary assistance to minimize disruption to your pilgrimage.
7. Behavior and Spirituality
- We expect all pilgrims to maintain a high standard of conduct and respect for the local laws and customs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We reserve the right to terminate the travel arrangements of any pilgrim whose behavior is deemed disruptive or disrespectful to the group or the holy sites.
8. Limitation of Liability
Barakah Journeys shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by events beyond our control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters.
- Outbreaks of infectious diseases.
- Sudden changes in Saudi visa or Hajj quotas.
9. Complaints
If you have a problem during your journey, you must inform our group leader or our UK office immediately so we can attempt to resolve the issue on the spot. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 21 days of your return.
